QUALIFICATIONS
Dr. Ishai Oliker is the president of JOSEPH TECHNOLOGY CORPORATION. Dr. Oliker has been directing development of district heating, cooling, heat pump, combined heat and power, distributed generation, demand site management, energy conservation and HVAC systems for institutional, commercial, residential and industrial customers. The work includes: District energy master planning and development, feasibility studies, energy audits, assessment of existing heating, cooling and electrical systems and equipment, development of district energy piping and energy system retrofit techniques and load management systems, consulting on energy rate structures, marketing, alternative financing, and conducting training workshops; Expert Witness and failure analysis in the district energy field; Design, preparation of specifications, and construction management of district energy systems (piping and generating plants).
EDUCATION: Master and Doctor of Science in District Heating and HVAC (Honors Diploma), Moscow Engineering Institute; Diploma, Senior Research Scientist, Central Research and Design Institute for Boilers and Turbines, St. Petersburg, Russia.
LICENSES: Registered Professional Engineer: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, Ohio, Wisconsin.
SOCIETIES: Past President, International District Energy Association; Member: American Society of Mechanical Engineers; National Association of Corrosion Engineers; Received the Highest Recognition in the District Energy Industry with the Norman R. Taylor Award.
OTHER ACTIVITIES: Former U.S. Representative at International Energy Agency District Energy Committee.
